Residents of Sharpeville are experiencing an electricity supply interruption since 12:00 this afternoon (Wednesday, 6 December 2017). About 3 500 customers in Sharpeville are affected by this power outage and Eskom technicians are attending to the fault.
Eskom wishes to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the incident and requested the community of Sharpeville to exercise patience. Constant updates will be shared as the status changes, Eskom said in a media release received by Ster tonight.
Customers are urged to treat all electricity supply cables as live.
