* Club outing, Saturday April 14 – Alf Peters will lead an outing to Marievale Bird Sactuary. Bird lovers meet in the car park at the Entrance Gate at 07:30.

* Wakkerstroom outing at the end of April 2018 – Club secretary Rina de Klerk has booked the Wakkerstroom centre for Friday April 27 (a public holiday) to Wednesday May 2 (as Tuesday May 1 is also a public holiday). Bird enthusiasts can go for two nights (Friday and Saturday, coming back on Sunday) or longer (stay until Tuesday May 1 or Wednesday May 2).

So far only eight club members are going and there are still eight dormitories (two beds each) available. A bird guide will be available for the morning of Saturday (April 28) and for the Sunday morning (April 29).

Anyone interested is welcome to call Rina on (016) 982 2730 or 082 626 6990 for more information.
