Support Group Leaders play an important role in assisting those living with Mental Health issues to manage the symptoms, what to expect from treatment and to give practical self-help tips. Support Groups can offer people living with Depression, Anxiety, Stress as well as their loved ones a place of warmth, understanding and support when dealing with Mental Illnesses, offering helpful tips and a safe place to share & connect with people who have gone through similar situations.

Support Groups can bridge the gap between, treatment and someone living with a Mental Illness in communities with little or no resources for Mental Health. SADAG can provide you with training, information, support, guest speakers and ongoing promotion of your Support Group.
If you have lived with Mental Health, and would like to volunteer your time to help others cope better and share your experiences – you may be interested in starting your own Support Group in your area.
